A very rare find!

Together with several high quality bronzes from Vienna we got this outstanding colorful butterfly commissioned and we are very glad being able to offer this rarity to you. The bronze depicts a peacock butterfly resting on a twig.

Painstakingly handmade and hand painted by the skilled craftsmen and women of one of the greatest workshops that ever existed.  

DIMENSIONS:	ca. 1 “ (2.5 cm) tall, and 2 3/8 “ (6 cm) long
CONDITION:	Good with just minor paint losses. Original paint, no restoration, no repairs, no touch ups! Please do not forget that you are buying a used item that always may show some traces of wear!

This is a rare antique cold painted Vienna or Wiener Bronze cast in the traditional lost wax technique (called ‘cire perdue’) by FRANZ BERGMANN the renowned workshop that created great pieces with the highest quality level and the best collectors and resale value!

Some outstanding works were signed “Nam Greb” (Bergmann spelled backwards), mainly Erotica and Orientalist bronzes. These marks were used to disguise his identity on erotic works.
